Pop Friction is Newcastle’s newest pop and rock cover band, bringing together four seasoned musicians with decades of live performance experience across Newcastle, Sydney and Melbourne. Combining exceptional musicianship, powerful vocals and an energetic stage presence, the band delivers a polished live show that’s equally at home in pubs, clubs, corporate events and private functions.

Fronted by the outstanding vocals and guitar of Jason “Hendo” Henderson, the band also features Mark Williams (keyboards/vocals), Anthony White (bass/vocals), and Kane McLennan (drums/vocals). Collectively, the members have performed at major venues throughout Australia, with the band’s combined experience also including acclaimed tribute productions celebrating artists such as Elton John, Pink, Billy Joel and Taylor Swift.

With a repertoire spanning Bruno Mars, Teddy Swims, Ed Sheeran, Rob Thomas, Michael Jackson, The Weeknd, OneRepublic, Robbie Williams and many more, Pop Friction blends timeless classics with today’s biggest chart hits and all the pub and club dance floor favourites that keep audiences singing, dancing and coming back for more.
