Biography
Lucy Watson is a singer-songwriter from Maitland, NSW, known for blending the best elements of folk and country with her own unique style. With a warm, distinctive voice and a natural stage presence, Lucy delivers engaging live performances that connect with audiences of all kinds. Lucy began her musical journey through busking, and was named one of the Top 10 Buskers at the 2022 Tamworth Country Music Festival at just sixteen. Since then, she has performed across a wide range of venues, festivals, events, and functions, building a reputation for creating the perfect atmosphere whether performing in an intimate setting or a lively venue. After graduating from Hunter School of the Performing Arts in 2023, Lucy went on to complete a Diploma of Music at the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney, further refining her songwriting and performance skills. She is also a 2026 graduate of the CMAA Senior Academy of Country Music in Tamworth, Australia’s premier country music development program. With a versatile repertoire and a genuine love of live performance, Lucy brings a professional, polished, and memorable musical experience to venues, weddings, and events alike.
